Kia Soul 2019

At the recent Motor Show in Geneva Korean company Kia, along with other new products, showed the third generation of its unusual crossover SOUL 2019-2020 model year.

Overview Exterior

Working out a new image for the model SOUL next-generation, KIA designers have tried to save the recognizable model to the best way, but at the same time make an updated design more stylish and bright.

Interior Salon

In the cabin of the new generation of Kia Soul 2019-2020, the company designers did not conduct significant changes, but by using point decisions made it more comfortable and interesting.

The most important improvements should be attributed:

• New multifunctional steering wheel with a straight line;
• Deployed towards the driver, the central part of the front console with the built-in display;
• Comfortable door armrests with control elements of various systems of the machine;
• Wide front armrest with clothing boxing;
• Front seats with increased side support;
• Changed climatic equipment deflectors with improved air flow distribution.

In the interior design, high-quality materials that increase the noise insulating parameters are used, and the mains of the cabin is made of innovative three-dimensional tissue. In addition, many elements of the cabin got edging from light metal.

Engines:

Initially, the KIA SOUL 2019-2020 model year will be equipped with power units with the following technical characteristics:

The crossover transmission will receive only an optional execution, and the 6-speed MCPP, 7-band automatic transmission or variator can be used as a CP.

• Modern combined charging system.

The electrical series will receive the name Soul EV.

A semi-dependent rear suspension can be attributed to interesting design solutions of the car, as well as the use of heavy-duty steels, providing strength to the body and improved handling.

When will it be on sale?

Initially, the Soul model was created by Kia for the American market. That is why the first sales of the third generation of the crossover will start in the USA in the spring of 2019.

Price

In European countries, the beginning of the implementation of the new Kia Soul model is scheduled for the summer of 2019, according to an estimated price for the basic performance of 17.70 thousand euros. History of the model

For the first time, the car was introduced at the end of 2008 and immediately attracted attention to an unusual exterior.
